How long we retain your data

When you leave comments, the meta data and your comment are retained indefinitely. This is done to speed up any follow up comments automatically, rather than being held up for moderation.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. This can be deleted, or edited at any time but they cannot change their username.  Website admins can also edit and see that information..

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive a file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the erasure of any personal data we hold about you that was provided by you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes that may be required by law. At this time it is simply your basic data required for logging in. Please do not log in and comment if you are uncomfortable with this for whatever reasons.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service or checked manually or both.

What third parties we receive data from

Google Search Console data which gives information to us allowing fixes to the website to continue providing quality content to users. Pages clicked, countries visited from, search queries used, dates clicked, and devices used are among the data used, nothing which identifies you in any way to us, other than as described above.
